To OP, I would go with whatever is cheaper. The hifonics is know to do rated. Stable at 1 ohm it puts out 1200 clean rms, definitely pushes my SA-8 to its max. You'll enjoy the hifonics, I can't speak for the SD rubicon tho, never tried or heard one.
