roscoe1129 Posted November 15, 2007 Report Posted November 15, 2007 Oh yeah, I've bumped it, Had people lookin back on the side of the road from a block in front of me, it shakes the ground & actually hurts my ears. Can't even drive very well on full blast cuz the windshield & dash & steering wheel flex so much. There is a slight problem though: Today when I was out testing it & showing off in front of a high school, The bass all of a sudden went to about 1/3 volume & stayed there, no matter what it won't go any louder than 1/3 what I've heard it do, then while I'm driving, It'l cut back on for a split second & go right back to being quieter. If I leave the volume on the headunit lower, it'll stay on, but as soon as I try cranking it it'll go to 1/3, I wonder if one is going into protect since they are master/slaved & wired at .7ohms each? Im not sure about the impedance cuzz with impedance rise of the subs when they are played it should actually be closer to 1 ohm, take a meter to the amps shile the subs are playing and see what the impedance is at lower volume and then at demonstration level. Tried to go with a symmetrical look with the wires: the wires linking the + and - on each battery looks to be 4 gauge. up that to 1/0 and bring both batteries closer my homie 2-DC 15XLM2 D.7s 1-DC 5K amp (1) XS Power D6500(UNDERHOOD) and (1) XS3000(REAR) 3 runs 1/0ga for power and 2 runs of 1/0ga for negative. (2)-RFT165s components, ...... 4 separate 1 inch tweetersRF T600-2(fronts) Punch 450.4(rear) Audiocontrol 3.1. DC power 260amp alternator w/MLA Module

They never shut off before when I tested them the other day... 4 15" FI Q D2's in 12 cubes tuned to 32hz 1- T1000.1bd's 3 Maxx 29 deep cycles 4 runs of 1/0 gauge -Big 3 -Trunk sealed off from the cabin Custom 15.8 dual-volt switching MLA module All in a CAR.

Every place here wants $20 for a pair of f**kin 1/0 ring terminals. They will be upgraded in due time, but for now I think they are enough. As for closer together, I need the weight spread evenly, & the wires from the front batt & alt are JUST long enough as it is... 4 15" FI Q D2's in 12 cubes tuned to 32hz 1- T1000.1bd's 3 Maxx 29 deep cycles 4 runs of 1/0 gauge -Big 3 -Trunk sealed off from the cabin Custom 15.8 dual-volt switching MLA module All in a CAR.
