Advice on putting together a daily 150+ DB system

good idea. But will the audioque HDC4 handling more power (after the break in time)then the AA Mayhem?

the mayhem is rated at 2500 and hdc4 is at 2000 and i have seen ppl throw some power at some mayhems

4 inch coil will handle more power, but the build quality of the AA Mayhem is TOP NOTCH, and the AQ will never touch that.

I was putting over 5000watts to each of my old mayhem 18s daily, and those things where beating like no other, with over double their rated rms power.

A perfect box for what subs you choose, Alot of power and the electrical for that power.

If you get somebody that knows what their doing porting through the rear deck might help

this might be a crazy question but should I consider adding another sub or will the 2 15's Mayhams do? I'm going to do the build myself so this is a learning experience for me.

well if your building it yourself and is going to be a learn experience, dont be expecting a 150db on a term-lab.

if you make it louder then 144db consider that an accomplishment!!

One thing to never do is to predict, or say such and such number that will make you happy. All your doing is setting yourself up for disappointment.

If thats the case would I be better off just doing 4 AA Chaos 15's sealed into the cabin? More cone area, same power

More cone area is not always louder, especially if your using the same power.
