30Hz.wav
So I got my DD1, my car is in the shop, so I still can't set my system. But I told a friend I could use it on his system, but the problem is, he has a stock stereo with a Line-Out converter to his bass amp. Is it possible to use the DD1 on this, or will I get false readings? How would I go about this. Sorry if this question has already been posted. Any help is appreciated, Thanks! meade916
yes, but dont be surprised if you find distortion in the signal...some LOC's do that. I will buy one and run some tests on my bench and make a video of what you might encounter. Which brand is it you use? thanks! 30Hz.wav
yes, but dont be surprised if you find distortion in the signal...some LOC's do that. I will buy one and run some tests on my bench and make a video of what you might encounter. Which brand is it you use? thanks! I believe my friend is using this stinger model. Hopefully I get to try the DD1 on his car this week! http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_17012_Stinger-SGN13.html And your right, I don't believe LOC's give out the best quality so that's why I had my doubt about the dd1 working on it. That's also why I tell most people to get an aftermarket stereo instead of using stock when they are trying to hook up an amp. The RCA output on the aftermarket provides better quality. Mha
Do an audiocontrol hi lo unit( what I have, lc6i to be exact ) there claim to fame is that normal coverters lose bass as volume goes up(bass bandit as they call it) but there units fix the problem so they say, think it might just be a bass boost but what do I know

I have one in my cousins car and one in my gf's car but I haven't put the DD-1 on either yet. I will take some time out and try it and post updates when I'm done.
