SojiaRaggs9000
SO....... About 2 weeks ago my mother was coming home in her mustang and person in front of here runs into a deer. It was night time and raining at the time so she didn't see the buck until it was too late. She completely runs over the buck on the left hand side of the car. Antlers were stabbed into the radiator and the exhaust was restored. Anyways.... Yesterday I was coming back into from picking up a few parts for our shop and a doe runs out in front of me. I calmly just get into the passing lane. All of a sudden my rear end starts to fish tail, at which point I try to correct. I over correct, hit the bar ditch and roll the truck (side to side) 2 times while catching some mean air. Then slid for about 150 feet on its (drivers) side, filling up the cab with sand. Once the dust settled I reached up and turned off the truck and started looking for my phone. With the truck on its side I had to climb out the passenger side window. Luckily Im 6'5" and was uninjured. Truck was an 08 F250 with 59k on the clock... Total it out. Company truck, company insurance. I work at a ford dealership so we received a new truck in about 30 mins. I always wear my seat belt so I wasn't heart but... yeah our shop truck got fucked up. I got some mean whiplash but nothing major. Here is some pics...... Sorry I had to dig through sand to find my phone to call the police... I didn't think about getting pics of it. Was my first wreck ever. Got me to thinking either the sister, daughter, mother or wife of the buck my mom hit... was trying to take me out.. lol Not as much sand in it now, but still plenty in there. Damn Gas card was setting in the center console and here you can see it got jammed into the door frame The owner wasn't too mad.. was just glad I wasn't hurt. Guy in the red is the owner of the dealership.. and the other is the salesman..... Wild expressions when they first seen the truck. I think you may be right on the deer- They are brutal viscous things. Here in Mississippi, we have more deer than people. If I remember correctly, you guys have the same situation in TX. I Know you guys have some whoppers out there. ...me thinks it is time to settle the score and start Hunting!!! Again, glad you are alright! SojiaRaggs9000
Im perfectly fine besides some soreness after waking up today. Seems like these dang deer has my families ticket! Where just waiting to hear back if insurance is going to total it out. Truck is worth $26k so it has to have 24K ish to be totaled out... which it should. Im just glad I wasn't driving my Taurus... not because of it being my personal vehicle...... but because my system in the trunk would of killed my ass. 2 12" LVL4 XLs, 200LBs box and D3100 would of beat me to death.
