Sub placement

Recommended Posts

Here is my car. The two pictures are of behind the back seats and my trunk. My trunk is completely closed off from the rest of the car. So where do I put my (2) 12" subwoofers?

My friend's trunk looks like that. He just has sub back port back and its fine.

And like Gally said: Anything you can do to let the bass into the cabin area will help

So you guys think I should put my subs in the trunk and cut a hole for the port where the white speaker is?

Should I face the subs up or regular?

that white piece should be your factory sub. If you don't want to do a lot of modifying just remove the sub and let the air flow througn. It would be better if you cut out the whole piece though

So your saying just cut out the whole top back behind the seats? Would I need a special box or a regular one and do I want them facing up?

Heck no man. Just cut a hole big enough for the port.
