And im tired of the rattles but dont got the money to get a full sheet window so do you guys think i could tack it in a few spots to stop it from opening and rattling? EDIT: i checked out his build log, its a sliding window N8 in his pickup, if the frames are steel... idk.. maybe? it is a 1991 sonoma so it could have steel frames. n8ball2013 Posted November 30, 2011 Report Share Posted November 30, 2011 if its that sonoma you are way over thinking this. your window sits in a track right. cut a piece of plastic. or wood and make sure it completely fills the length of the track. do this on both sides and your sliding window cant slide.
