I am Poncho Posted December 17, 2011 Report Share Posted December 17, 2011 it must be. i saw about a 15-20 degree drop from stock. and under full load no OC im getting like low 60s not bad im going to run this for another month or so. and then pull it. clean off the factory thermal paste and use the arctic silver i have to see the difference... Mine is getting a bit dated again. AMD Phenom 2 quad core 965 overclocked to 4.10ghz Asus M4A79T Deluxe motherboard Corsair Dominator DDR3(667mhz) 8 gigs (2gig by 4sticks), yeah I know... but no issues here. Corsair 750watt PSU EVGA 9800GTX overclocked to a 815 or 825mhz core, i forget the memory speed. Had 2, but my motherboard wont support them like my old board did. Seagate 700gig hdd or something around there. Lian Li Lancool case Thermalright silver aarow cpu cooler also using all B Blaster fans now, think thats what they are called, but not pictured. Then I tore the case down one night, due to boredum and my new monitor to replace my old 22inch samsung 226bw monitor which is pictured above.
