Sub barely moves?

cant set ur gains with a Dmm....

You can, But its not guaranteed to not clip at some point.

Are you wired correctly?

And only 2V Preout, I'd say the gain might have to go up a bit. But still, Best bet is to get a DD1 or a Scope and check it. Then set right.

Check your subwoofer output settings on the deck, some have to be raised to put out the "rated" power to the amp so you dont have to max out the gain on the amp.

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through.

the sub level on the headunit isnt up probably. i'd bump it up one notch at a time til that light comes on.

edit: people are probably gonna argue that the clipping light isnt 100% accurate, which it isnt, but you really dont have a more accurate method available.
