Herokight Posted January 30, 2014 Report Posted January 30, 2014 you got some serious optical illusion going on here.. looks like you have grounds and power mixed up.. amp inputs are - + + - + - not - + + + + - like it looks like you wired it. the dual inputs must only have 1 stub that goes in the amp inputs making to where it don't short.. so i guess you're not using the middle inputs where the remote goes.. wonder if it will cause any issues trying to cram 900 amps of current on only 2 amp inputs It looks like he is only using the two outer input pairs and the remote.So it - + () () + - With the () being unused that's why i said he had an optical illusion going with the inputs.. i don't think his dumb enough to wire an amp wrong and my concern was more about 2 inputs taking the full load instead of 3.. there has to be a reason why the amp has 3 inputs and not 2. It may be because he's running 14v instead of 12v. Two inputs may be enough for it to have the power it would on a 12v system. That's my only guess at least. Pressure and area (assuming a clean connection) are what affect electrical transfer at a joint. Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. It's really something, being able to not only use THAT much equipment and wire, but also making it look clean and flawless at the same time. Be careful now, it may not be a bad idea to start handing out diapers before turning it up. I can't even begin to imagine the amount of money that has been spent on this build.... Just completely insane!
