SnowDrifter
One of the guys over on caco suggested using a drill bit in reverse to spread the threads without grabbing it. Seemed to work pretty darn wekk. Just go slow Quote ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
Whothennow
X2. Bit in reverse FTW. Same process as drilling holes in Leather or vinyl door panels.
audiofanaticz
best way is to drill thru the basket mounting holes that are filled with ca glue and the surround. Drill from the bottom or back side towards the front/top.
