How to drill hole in my surround?

if you can find the holes then just drill through it. then there will be a hole. haha

I always just put a screw through the hole.

Or they just never had new Subs from dc :peepwall:

Just get anything really sharp and cut through

c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old.

i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer.

I'm using t-nuts to mount it though. I actually need a sizeable hole

i realized what he was talking about after i posted my answer. i have had new subs form DC but mine had it where they poked the hole through before they gave it to me. :pardon:

I use loong drywall screws with little washers so it can't ever catch with reinforements insidethe surround

Otherwize just poke till u fine the hole :lol:

One of the guys over on caco suggested using a drill bit in reverse to spread the threads without grabbing it.

Seemed to work pretty darn wekk. Just go slow
