bujwah Posted December 8, 2011 Report Share Posted December 8, 2011 so i just bought the RF 2500-1 BDCP and its recommended at 1/0 Awg wire..i was wondering since i already have 4awg wire installed my car..if it was okay to power this amp with my 4awg??? also i have a single fi btl n2 15 and the rf amp is 2500 @1&2ohm was wondering if this would be too much power to be feeding this sub..i don't want to blow out my sub so soon. You will want to have 1/0 for that amp (to do 1 run and a ground should be about 20ft which is 50-60 bucks plus a fuse holder) and an extra battery if you can. Or a really big battery to swap the stock out for. But the fuse in the fuse holder pops before this can happen, if it is the right amp rating for the wire.
