Recommended Posts

Holy hell, I just stumbled upon this, don't know how I missed it. I love the build and all of the planning and stuff that you show along he way, even when it's something you don't like.

Just read through it all and am tuned in from here out.

What you guys are going to see in this next build is 2 classes worth of training from some of the most talented people in the industry. Up until now, I have been hacking my way through builds. The owner of this car is more interested in seeing what I can do next then he is in what it costs. This is 1 of 5 cars I have locked in for the year. Actually more like the next 6 months. I can't share everything I learned in these classes in step by step pictures, but if you are willing to learn what I have learned the next few builds will teach you guys an assload of tricks if you pay attention to the details. Hold on to your butts, Shits about to get real.

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)

So shop is busy with 2 projects right now. This one and another one I'm not quite ready to start a build log on yet. Stay tuned for that one. I'll give you a teaser pic.

Now back to the green monster.

Adding more power throughout the car. It's an already tight trunk, so lets add more power right? Of course.

This is the plan. DC 175.4 and 3.5 along the back. and 2 - 1.2k's on the floor. Each side of the trunk will house a pair of XS Power batteries

New technique for me is using metal to fab up amp racks. Not only is it stronger, but saves weight, room and time.

Nice fit.

Next the same thing for the 1.2k's

Couple mounting tabs to make. Then to make sure everything is square and where I want it then its time to frame out the panels.
