I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
kingsuv Posted February 29, 2012 Author Report Posted February 29, 2012 Last night I was trying to figure out how I wanted to make the panels around the back of the car. Now in newer cars you can pinch the fleece between the trunk edge and the rubber gasket. The problem is with older cars is this idea wasn't invented yet. So needless to say I was determined to see this fail idea through so I could come up with another plan. I 1st started out needing to protect the trunk and everything around it. Next came the fleece and the brash of clamps to hold everything in place. Plus I needed to hold the board down in the bottom and the jack fit the bill nicely At this point, I was starting to think this might actually work. So I decided to give it a coat of resin and see what happens. After 2 thin coats to get it crispy I was happy to see it where it was this morning. Got a nice smooth surface to work with. I have pulled the whole thing so I can glass the bottom flat before I pull the board. Once I get a good couple coats I can pull the board out and glass the inside bottom. Once I have that, I can for on finishing up on the sides. These don't need a whole bunch of support but will get a few tricks on the front side to add some depth to the tub. While I wait for shit to dry, I decided it was time to clean up a few power ends from the past install.
