IKnowImLost224
Is there any way to wire this sub to 1.5 ohms? Its dual 1.5 VC. I have it at 3 ohms right now because I dont wanna go under an ohm in parallel.
Team_DC-Derrick
the only way to wire 1 1.5 dvc sub to 1.5 is to hook up only 1 coil Quote The DC Integra 3 18s to 6 15 build log Team_DC-Derrick's Youtube Team DC Audio where theres a will theres a wall....... baaudio
youll either get 3 ohms or .75 the only way to get 1.5 would be with another 13w7. the 13w7 is the only dual voice coil w7 Quote Team NWSPL baaudio Build Log 2001 GMC Sierra walkthrough 4 Mechman Elite 370s, 10 AGM batteries, 3 Crossfire XS v2 18s, Crossfire 8k

Do you know of any .5 ohm stable amps to push it? I currently have a Power acoustik bamf 4000/1d that is 1 ohm stable but I dont wanna risk frying it. Dangrebel
Put it on the bamf and Wang it, .75 ohms shouldn't hurt if you have the electrical. Or you could look into the d tower series of sound stream amps the 3400rms version is .5 ohm stable Quote 1999 GMC Yukon, 6 PSI platform 5 18's, 4th order bandpass by BHE, Taramps,
IKnowImLost224
I don't really need all that power so I wanna see if I can get something a little cheaper.

Hook a 1 0hm stable amp up to each coil. You will need to have the amps hooked up to a 2 channel osciloscope at you local audio shop so that they can match the phase on both amps. That's about as cheap of an option as you've got if you wanna run 1.5 ohms.
