13W7 wiring question

the only way to wire 1 1.5 dvc sub to 1.5 is to hook up only 1 coil

youll either get 3 ohms or .75 the only way to get 1.5 would be with another 13w7. the 13w7 is the only dual voice coil w7

Damn I kinda figured. Do you know of any .5 ohm stable amps to push it? I currently have a Power acoustik bamf 4000/1d that is 1 ohm stable but I dont wanna risk frying it.

I don't really need all that power so I wanna see if I can get something a little cheaper.

Hook a 1 0hm stable amp up to each coil. You will need to have the amps hooked up to a 2 channel osciloscope at you local audio shop so that they can match the phase on both amps. That's about as cheap of an option as you've got if you wanna run 1.5 ohms.
