CJ18 Posted December 20, 2011 Report Posted December 20, 2011 I am trying to finish setting up a system and the headunit is a kenwood x595 goes into protect instantly when the car is turned on. I have no clue what is causing this. Help!

thehoe92 Posted December 20, 2011 Report Posted December 20, 2011 my buddy had a similar problem with his Kenwood and we just unplugged the harness and plugged it back in and it came out of protection. if that doesn't work try resetting the deck as well good luck Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple

CJ18 Posted December 21, 2011 Author Report Posted December 21, 2011 Thanks guys. We figured it out. There was a short somewhere in the stock speaker connections that were not being used. I cut those wires on the harness and it was good to go.
