trulywickedcustoms
What's up guys I know rusty has quite a few neo's in stock... My question is how do they perform in 4th orders? what's the power handling? is it a 3" coil?? I'm hoping nick will chime in on this they just sparked an interest and I didn't know much about them Thanks Blake Quote *2013 NEW BUILD* 12- 18" Crossfire XS v2's B pillar 4th order wall 4- Crossfire 8K mono blocks 40+ pro audio mids tweeters and horns 3- Singer alternator 400a external regulated alts tons of audiotechnix wire 24- XS Power D1400's -TEAM XS POWER- -TEAM CROSSFIRE- -TDH-
CJ18
The neo is a 3" coil and I would say 4-5k on the power handling.

What are the pros and cons on neo motors vs ferrite motors?.. Neo is lighter and if you took a piece of neo and a piece of ferrite of the same size rhe neo should be stronger
corona_jeff
well comparing the same amount of ea. The neo has roughlt 4x the force
CJ18
Dont quote me on any of this, I am just basing this off of my conversations with Rusty about the neos. The neo is stronger than the ferrite and the cooling is much better. The price of the current Neo wont go down due to the cost of material, but I wouldnt put it past Rusty to redesign it to bring the price down and make it affordable again. The neo has roughlt 4x the force how about the 'current' lvl 6 motor against a current neo motor ?... i can see NEO'S having better cooling Quote 05 f150 4 18'' DC lvl6 2 DC AUDIO 9.0ks 161.3 @ 44HZ build log here96 tahoe http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/160522-8-18xls2-dc-100k4th-order/page-
