RickyFriery97
ok so i found me another M1 XL 18" that i will be buying. Power is a RF T2500BDCP @ 1 ohm this is a daily groundpounder, looking to kill some lows, pull some god hairtricks, and just beat my Tahoe Looking for suggestions on net volume, and what kinda port area would work good for what im looking for. Will most likely be using a simple slot port ill post up some max dimensions in a few, thanks in advance for any help. Merry Christmas! flwatersaver
not going to work.. you need 12s, please send me the two 18's so i can put 4 in my blazer. DC says 6 cubic feet per sub, I am going with 16in2 of port per ft3 and tuned to about 33hz Quote My selling FeedbackBuild log - Blazer C pillar wall, Two DC Audio 3.5k'sTEAM PSI

kingsuv
No more then 5cuft net has worked very well for my builds Quote Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out. not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
CJ18
I just had great success with 5.75ft3 per sub after displacements with 15in2 of port per ft3. If you ever intend on adding more power and dont want to have to build a new box, I would go with 5.5-5.75 per sub net. If you plan on sticking with just the 1 2500, then i would be at 6ft3 per sub net.
supremeaudio13
I have 2 18: XLs in about 10.3 net tuned to 27 HZ .. Im pretty sure Thor has said if you wanna hammer the lows to give the XLs around 5 cubes per sub. I have about 135 sq in total.
RickyFriery97
I won't be upgrading power, I'm thinking anything below 6 cubes net per sub is too small. It's in the cargo area of my Tahoe so plenty of room to play with I have one in 6.5 net with I think 18 square inches of port per cube and it sounds awesome, just starts to get smelly on constant low songs Quote 2014 Chevy Silverado Crewcab 1994 Chevy Full Size blazer
