They do get loud! Just gotta do it right. Electrical cannot be skimped on at all, that has been the biggest key to mine.

After I get off of Christmas vacation from work, I've got a few loose ends to tie up with a few people, and then I can start buying supplies.

Cody, subs are orgibally 2 18s but I may try 4 10s or something. :ninja:

Thought also crossed my mind of pulling AC for 4th alt

Some ppl can't cut a hole snug. Hahaha

Oh I can, I'm very handy with a jig saw. Gonna be picking up some new tools soon for this build.

Saw the sketchup and was like: I know where this is going, and I like it.

Do it to it.

Honestly with my experience with the triples, I really dont think that the 4.6 is strong enough to even handle 3. I had to put an aftermarket programmer on mine to raise my idle up to 850rpm just to get my engine to act right. Full tilt at idle it will bog down into the low 500s to high 400rpm range. When I play with the engine revved, I have to have it at about 3000rpm before I hit it so that it will settle in at 2000rpm.

If I were in your situation, I would get a 350a unit for you stock location from Mike, a dual bracket, and a 400a unit for the dual. I would then just invest in enough batteries to supplement the rest of the power need. Trying to do 4 alts on the 4.6 would spell the death of that engine in my opinion.
