soundcheck11
Looking for someone that knows and has used Cadence amplifiers before. Looking at the Cadence ZRS C7 7000d amp. Would like to know if it would be stable enough at .75ohm. Thank you for your help Jordan
Lbox88
fecupe just did a test on a cadence amp. Look for the 1500W amplifier challenge, I know his rise was at 1.07 ohm, don't know his start load. Quote UBL | Build Log

Freshman6969
you might be able to call cadence and get this info Quote Legal TL scores145.6 on the dash sealed up in the low 40hz area with the port out145.5 on the dash sealed up @30hz with the port inless then 1k clamped on a 3.5k! soundcheck11
its all tested at 14.4 volts peak 14k, rms 7k @ 1ohm. Want to run at .75 but obviously wish voltage drops the rise will probably be nearly 1-1.5.
Lbox88
Not to sure that it will do rated btw. If you kept your voltage at 14.4, with 2*200A fuses: 400A x 14.4V = 5,760 watts. Quote UBL | Build Log
n8ball2013
are you sure its rated at that much at 14 volts or 18.... Lbox88
Dammit n8... Manual Here, supposed to be powered by 18V to get the 7k Edited December 30, 2011 by Lbox88 Quote UBL | Build Log
soundcheck11
doesnt say it has to be powered by 18v just says it can handle up to 18 volts. but like most have said i realizse the power will be greater at an 18v input. I did read somewhere on the cadence website that there testing was done at a 14.4v. but i do appreciate the help guys. still looking into amps to get for my set up. even with a this amp it would still put out what id need to 4 w7's at a lower voltage than 18v
