LSN2meBoom916
meh, none of it really impresses me cuzz they DONT PLAY MUSIC........and get trailored everywhere.....Amen to that for a DAILY claimer.Ther IS still an art/science to building a 180db fart machine tho. I'd love to give it a try myself. Actually the loudest dB Drag score is 180.5 in EX1 held by Alan Dante. The other scores are from other formats which pretty much mean nothing, different meters and different meter locations mean the scores can be increased upto 5dB or so. But regardless who really cares because music is where it's at. Don't hate on a format cuz it's "different" it may be all they have in some places-we must encourage the audio-sport in whatever form. We just have to clarify the differences before we can compares them.Or Pay no attn to the part NOT in red. My brothers truck is one of the loudest music/bass trucks you'll ever hear, and no its not a trailer queen, its a 95 suburban with 4 15" RF Power Hx2's. Each powered by a Alpine M1507, 4 Kinetik HC2400's and some other electrical upgrades... but needless to say he hit 178.XX on music. Wow. Geez boss your no fun He's too classy to bash em for his ignorance on the 1st offense..but repeated, stubborn, big-mouthedness will be banned or PWNed Im sure.Because it's a Cavalier?oooohhhh ouch.I lol'd. Well, He swears by it and i did see papers....I mean we did beat the Fusion Audio sound truck. So maybe 178 is bs? im not much of a comp guy anyways i just build some window shaking systems..... But i know for one thing that truck will do atleast 155 db.... A TL mic is hooked up to a computor/laptop. Whoever HAND WROTE that score down could be on crank or acid or just want his "SOUNDOFF" to be a success so he might fudge the numbers a bit so folks will have pumped up egos and feel like doing the whole entry fee/waiting around spending time and resources again rather than swearing off sound offs as "ghey" since they only scored a 140db.22db difference is not much My thoughts exactly.22db no biggie. Sorry jr 3600 watts is not getting you to a 155 in a suburban walled behind the second seat. that is a whole lot of cabin space to pressurize.
