DC Audio Trunk Build 50.8db

Recommended Posts

My honest assessment of the car now is voltage. I think his yellow top is a nice paperweight after 6 years and the 2 stinkers in the back are taking the brunt of it all. I would be willing to bet, that 1 amp running those subs would put out the same score. I just don't see too much more gain until the basics are improved on. It's what worked well in Ray's hoe, and I would say both setups are pulling about the same amperage.

we should try jumper cables from your truck to mine and what it can do on good voltage.

Quality is all in how you take pictures ;) I have plenty of projects that look WAY better on camera then in person :D

crazy to fit so many in so little. Reminds me of some of the porns I've seen?

It would need more then jumpers for a good 800amp draw those things could do

Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out.

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)

If I was closer to u both u could barrow from my trunk

with thoes buss bars I got from u still got 4 spots + and 4 - that I could run to your car, that would least give u some electrical

So far in my own testing I have found single sub set ups out of the trunk to do numbers and play music well. Have you guys considered trying a single 15" in a super strong box forward firing into the cabin sealed off? You can have a good baffle with the port area you need and the space to make it removeable/changeable.

With as much power you got in that car I think you would be surprised what one sub can do. And you can have the room you need for more batteries.

I ran a single 18 the same way and had great results.

Nice build(s) by the way. You guys are trying everything!

What single sub u gonna give 10k :lol2:

There's basically only 2 that even stand a chance (ddz and smd) and any clip say bye bye

Espically he's daily not pure spl... he'd be loosing so much cone area, I also did single 18 and loved my result but I never metered it, and it was 1/4 power then 1/2 power (5k) I never got the chance to give it 10k

Just my opionon..... him and I have similar setups equipment.... he's louder tho :peepwall:

He's pulling like I did when I had my dds...I use to drop like crazy with 2 3100s a 3400 and a 2700.with 800amps of alt back then...put a stinger volt meter up front wired in to amps inputs so you know what voltage drop is.... save up and put the best batterys in back.and the biggest up front
