A little something for fun

Recommended Posts

Alright! As they said on the movie "Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter is Dead" ( I know, I'm aging myself again), Hey Man, The Dishes are done!!!!

All I have left is to put everything in the truck. Justin couldn't make it by today so we got everything finished without physical installation. NO, Of course, there is no amp rack built. I figured I can visit that at a later date when he can get some matching amplifiers and some nicer woofers. So, here's the Pic trail:

Had a minor set back when some of the fiberglas cracked while dry fitting things yesterday. Did a quick repair and moved on:

Then I went about painting everything with the chrome paint. Remember, we wanted that metal look to everything. By the way: The front grill pieces were such a pain in the ass, next time I will build them out of aluminum. Making wood look like metal sucks!

I attached some of the same grill material (this shit is really used for masonry work. I bought a 2X6 sheet of it at HD for $7). It works well as grill material.

And then he said "Let there be light":

That's it for this weekend guys. I don't know when we'll put it in the truck, but I will definitely post some shots when we do. I still don't know if I'll do the other project I've been hinting about. I'll keep you all informed if I do. Thanks again for watching and supporting my posts. If you have any questions, feel free to shoot them my way. Catch ya later...
