If they are in a common chamber maybe you would want to show off the motor on one sub and if your subs have cool dustcaps show the dustcap on the other but you would have to reverse the polarity on one of the subs. If they are in separate chambers than u dont have to change anything even if you invert one and leave the other normal. As to why people invert both or multiple subs some people are just looking for that little bit of extra airspace or just want to show off the motors.
