SQMonte
Just picked up a Soundstream RUB1.2500D and am ready to upgrade subs. I'm sure the SA's could take it for a while but I want something with more thermal handling ability so I don't have to worry if the subs can take it. Some subs i'm considering are: Digital Designs 3512 SSA ICON DC Lvl4 IA Death Row AA Chaos AA Havoc Fi Q Fi SSD Any others in that rms range I should consider? Only thing is it's gotta be a 12" and gotta be larger than 2.5" coil My goal is loud, but clean, accurate and tight. Just for a daily, no comps so not concerned with numbers Edited January 13, 2012 by SQMonte Quote Alpine CDA-117...Memphis 16-X03 CDT Audio SQA-4100...SEAS Prestige H1396...Crescendo MP-6 Soundstream Rubicon 1.2500d...Digital Designs 3512f

baaudio
really looking at that list the woofers are all pretty comparable. its really hard to say. ive had a 15" level 4 running on 2k for a month solid with no issues, prolly being clipped also. badass woofer really got down. i think the biggest decider is going to be what kind of enclosure you want to go with and such, then getting recommendations from the guys who have used those woofers in their ideal enclosures. just my $.02 Quote Team NWSPL baaudio Build Log 2001 GMC Sierra walkthrough 4 Mechman Elite 370s, 10 AGM batteries, 3 Crossfire XS v2 18s, Crossfire 8k
TeamHT
I would trust those SAs on the power, as well as many other 2.5" coil subs. But out of that list, AA Chaos hands down.
