bsneon98
Hey guys. I just got two new american bass xd1044's with a matching box, their being powered by a Nitro BMW-486 "2000w". I guarantee its hardly pushing 1200w. I have a pioneer deh-1700 head unit with factory 6x9's, factory dash tweeters, and Scosche 6.5's in the doors. My plan is to upgrade everything except the door speakers for now. All my looking up and such hasnt given me a good idea of what I can handle without amplifying anything except for the subs. Any ideas or other support are greatly appreciated! Mad_Mike
Go with some kenwood door speakers. They sound damn good for 80 bucks a pair, and you could run them on the headunit easily. Then upgrade the deck to a kenwood excelon(those run 100-150 for 1 dins with basic EQ). For sub amps look elsewhere though.
