Her names lucy, Unsure of age, we found her in a bad neighboor hood skin and bones about 4 years ago. Could see her ribs and spine was homeless.

Did the other dog at any point go at you guys? actually yes he would chase me and my mom.. everyday occurance.. the owner said o hes just playing thats normal for him... 1 time he chased me into our garden shed and he kept me there for 2hrs..bc i was too scared to leave the shed.. my stepdad would have let it go again IF he didnt hurt my border colley.. ( ripped most of his throat out)..that i guess was the bottom line.. and i agree back on topic now how do i upload pics to here?? i dont have a photobucket is there any other way?

Well just by reading this your dad really had no reason to shoot the dog. Yes he killed your dog, but the pound would have came and handled that like they do to any other dog. And I say that because you said that dog chasing you and your mom was an every day thing, if the dog would have really wanted to attack you, bite you, maul you or anything else he would have done it. In his 15 years of breeding he came across two doberman that were agressive to where they needed to be put down, sometimes theres just a bad dog in the litter, he always hated pitbulls simply because of their bad reputation but now that we have a pitbull due to some family issues he has learned to love the pitbull and its the friendliest dog hes ever had, the other day i watched this thing on animal planet about pitbulls and they say its one of the least agressive dogs there are, people train them to fight simply because of their raw strength they are born with. I swear this dog think hes human sometimes, he lets us know ehen hes hungry, when he needs to go outside, and when hes cold he forces himself into our beds and under the covers its ridiculous. Your right about the human part, my puppy pit is the same exact way! Its also been proven that "wiener " dogs are more vicious then pit bulls but due to the size difference it goes un noticed. Out of most dogs pit bulls have one of the smallest bites psi. And "getlocivic" its also a proven fact that most people think a dog is trying to attack them when its chasing them around but most of the time its trying to play, and as long as You keep running and hiding its gonna chase you because it thinks your playing. Ecco Posted January 17, 2012 Report Posted January 17, 2012 ^^^ get this product called cosequinn (check spelling).. i seen it advertised on commercial for arthritus and joint pain... and ACTUALLY worked wonders on my german shepard larry bc hes almst 10now..and generally had a hard time getting up..not anymore I'm assuming that's directed towards me. She has already been on a ton of joint medications. But it's a spinal problem. Vets at a specialty clinic say that without any physical therapy, she only has 8 months to a year before she can't walk. it's not a pain problem, either. She's pain free and she still runs around everywhere. She just forgets that her hips don't work well anymore so she runs while jumping with her rears, and if she turns in place, her hips give way and she collapses to the floor. damn thats sad to hear.. all i can say is ENJOY the time u have left with her.. Thanks, I will. I'm still gonna be torn up when the time does come either way...
