fecupe2001
Go with Aeros and that´s it, they can save you A LOT of room, build the box 17x36x28 as you said you have available and 3 6" aeroports full lenght, or if you want to save some money, then go ahead and use PVC tubes, those 3515´s are AMAZING if you ask me, here´s a picture of a box i built recently, it´s doing 151 @ 43 hz with a DD m4 That box is 8 c/f and 4 6" aeros with a 38 hz tuning, plays all the way to 30 hz without ANY problems; I know you have a smaller room, but still, those subs play strong with anything above 3.5 cubic feet. By the way, 3 6" aeros is kind of small port area for those subs, BUT, if you already have the subs and that´s the most port area you can fit with a 35 hz tuning, then i say go ahead, you never know, i used 4 6" PVC tubes for a pair of DD 3518´s in my swift since i didn´t have ANY room in that tiny car, and still did pretty good, hairtricks all day long an a 150.6 @ 40 hz on a no wall box using 2 cheap ass amplifiers I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. Joe X
I think a single 18" is best for that box size.
fecupe2001
You are correct about that, he has a perfect room for a proper 18" box, but , i always prefer to run at least a pair of subs, way better for a daily application since it disipates the heat better, at least that´s my opinion I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains.
