I can't seem to find a "how to" thread or even general guide lines to start off with. I understand the 2:1 ratio, but I can't find a place to start or which specs to base it off of. I'm also confused on the tuning, I understand that you want to tune higher.. it just doesn't make much sense to me. Any help is appreciated... Next time she tries to punch you in the stomach, whip your wiener out and chase her around. Show her who's boss.
Joe X Posted January 27, 2012 Report Posted January 27, 2012 The port tuning is aimed to cutoff high frequencies unlike a normal bass reflex box in which limits the low frequencies.
Joe X Posted January 27, 2012 Report Posted January 27, 2012 Best not to try to design it yourself it will most likely be a failure, the chamber ratio is never guessed as most people do. The minimum fault in the construcion or design will render it basically useless. Unless you want top SPL ported will do just fine and be far easier to make.
