LoudBimmer Posted January 31, 2012 Report Share Posted January 31, 2012 few weeks ago i sat in an envoy that did 151.1, and it was super loud. but when i was 16, my buddy had a kia with a pair of JL w1 subs, on a 300 watta alpine 2 channel. it was in a prefab bandpass, and TO BE COMPLETLY HONEST, i think it was the loudest thing I ever sat in. i could not breath AT ALL... to this day, i still cant figure it out. was it also over 160 db's ? It's the highs that will fuck you up. Which makes sense considering extra loud highs drive me insane. To the point of complete irritation and discomfort. Can sit in 150+ all day but a few seconds a couple k hz and I'm already dying. I like the oldschool one.. So far Rays Hoe is the loudest I heard. Have to say I didn't expect it to feel like that. I couldn't tell if my eyes was moving or the dash. Hope one day to get that loud.
