What size are those terminal rings? Just ordered a 15" last night, and want to prep my wire. Thanks man.

The copper rings are for 8 gauge and the size is 3/8.  I ordered mine from Ennis Electronics on eBay for $7.  Perfect size for the bolts on the sub.  Once bolted down, those bitches don’t budge.

Aight, so I got the front XS prepped with the I-bar and SAE posts.  I will be using breakers on the main power run from front to back.

I was going for a clean look so I’ll be using my Sky High 0 gauge reducers in the breaker.  For those that were curious, yes they do fit.  Just need to loosen the Allen bolt and take out the 4 gauge reducer.

I’m taking baby steps...this is surely my last build in this car so I want to go as clean as possible.

For those who are curious what the inside looks like, the ports are 4” from the bottom of the enclosure...dense foam (yoga blocks) are cut and section off the corners of the enclosure to reduce volume...used wood glue on the bottom blocks, but the rest are wedged super tight and won’t move.   

 

Gonna mount that SP4 beast this week then the Wolfram 4500....last thing left is the XS Power 5100 in the rear.....stay tuned!
