NightmareImpala
Correct^ 2 pos + 2 neg runs is more than enough for 6k man. Save yourself some money on that You think 2 + and 2 - will be sufficient? Quote TEAM DISTANT THUNDER
RickyFriery97
Probably, but an extra 2 runs won't harm, so if that's what ya wanna do go for it! Quote 2014 Chevy Silverado Crewcab 1994 Chevy Full Size blazer

IBleedMusick
There made to be a battery you would use in a batt bank(like you are planning on) I think I read some where that the discharge/charge rate is faster or better? I dk don't quote me on that lol I'm sure Nathan will chime in okay that makes sense. and yeah hopefully nathan will help clear up anything From how I understood it IIRC when he announced the group buy was that the XP is made for those of us who want to play for longer periods of time like demo's to use them in our battery banks for strictly that reason. POPLERO
Since these XPs are made for being a second battery (batt bank) would it be still safe to connect to the front battery even if it is not a XP style? NightmareImpala
Yes as far as I know you can as long as its an agm battery that your connecting to such as a d3400 or something like that. Quote TEAM DISTANT THUNDER
dereileak
I realize 2 runs would give him more room to work with, but the alt cant even do 300 amps, which true 1/0 gauge wire will take very will with low voltage drop, im doing 5000 watts, around 352 amps when at full power, and I have only 1 1/0 run, now granted my mechman alt does only 220 amp (largest unit for my mazda3) I wouldnt see any reason for me especially to do another run, cause the alt cant keep up, and the d3400 will help up front, but the d3100 in the back should have the balls to take care, just my thought, idk maybe when I get the money ill do another run, hell if you have the money I would do another run, and maybe 1 1/0 neg run, and using the frame to ground Quote 2006 Mazda3 Hatchback Black 5 Spd ManualPioneer 4300DVD2 Sundown SA-12 (34hz Tune, 3.22 cubes, 14.5 inches per cube, Triple Baffle)Kicker 10ZX2500.1 (2845 RMS) Sub AmpKicker 11ZX650.4 (705 RMS) Mid Amp -- (3 Amps)Kicker KQ3 Active CrossoverKicker KQ30 EqualizerKicker 09QS60.2 Components (Woven Carbon Cones)Kicker 09QS65.2 Components (Woven Carbon Cones) - (3 Sets)2/0 Gauge Electron Beam Technologies (3 Runs, 2 +, 1 -) 1/0 Gauge KNU Kollasal Flex (1 Run for -) 300 Ft Kicker X-Series 16 Gauge Speaker WireXS Power D3400 (Rear)XS Power D3100 (Front)Singer Externally Regulated Alternator (Being Built)+ The Love for Car Audio and BASS <3UBL Build Log <------- Click Here-------> Normal Build Log (For Comments)
Hunters21w
Yea and your using ofc wire. If you are set on it then do it, otherwise I dont think it'll gain you one bit. Unless you plan on nearly doubling your power it probably won't be necessary.
