Ballen194
Clipping is basically a bad signal from the amp to the sub. Chances are that bass boost toasted a coil or fried a lead. Turn it down. In the future I'd go with a sub that can handle a little more abuse anyway and I don't know your elecricals but I'd upgrade those as well if you haven't. 98 Isuzu Rodeo Pioneer Deh-6300ub SUBS*Upcoming* SSA Xcon 18 4th order AMP Banda 3500 Mids/Highs Pioneer EQ Clarion EQS746 ETC. Rebel4055
Right now you gotta learn right from wrong. Stick around here and ask questions. People will be glad to help. The way you were taking the gain knob is a volume knob. The further you turn it doesn't make it better. Rest In Peace mother. Rebel4055
Those amps are nice little things. There is probably quite a few people in Michigan that would use a DD-1 or scope on your system. Don't know who's all up there but it's worth a try looking for the oscope/dd-1/termlab thread.
