C-Fizzy
On the headunit bass needs to be at 0, sub volume at 15 out of 15. Then get your amp tuned correctly. The headunit goes up to 35 on volume right? They usually clip at 24 or 25. So I'd set your max listening volume at 23. under construction I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me. u hate c-fizzy? Hunters21w
I live in the waterford/pontiac area. If you ever come by this way I'd be willing to help you out. I have a DD-1 and a DMM, whichever you'd like to tune with we can use. Do you even know how big you built that box? lol, try using a box calc for some guidance. 06 Police TahoeHU- Pioneer 80prsAmp- Crossfire 8kSub- 4 15" Crossfire xs v2sWire- 1/0 Knu/AudiotechnixAlt- 3 Mechman SMD 340sBatts- 6 XS Power 3100s, 2400
C-Fizzy
But you built it with particle board. And no bracing. Do you know what it's tuned to? The internal volume? You've gotta know these things. under construction I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me. u hate c-fizzy? Nivram
its braced and the box is 8.2 cubes after port displacement tuned around 28hz Walled 2002 buick century A.K.A "Betty sue" polk 5 1/2 front doors 4 3in pillar speakers DD 3518's AQ 3500 v2 90ft of 0/1 ga tuned to 40hz :build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/162721-buick-built-in-trunk-fi-sp4-hifonics-2400/
corey0928
You can turn the sub level on the head unit up to 15. Its not bass boost, it allows more power to run through the rcas allowing you to leave your gain turned down to have a clean signal. 28 hz is low tuning unless all you play is slowed songs or songs from decaf. That may have been too low.for the audiobahns. Get a decent set of 15s and turn the gain down and bass boost all the way down. Set the ssf around 25ish and the other around
