I could be wrong, but they drill and tap the pole piece to attach the neo part before they magnetize the whole motor, so probably not gonna happen. When I got mine super charged, they had to verify that the motors were "superchargeable". After a certain date all DD motors 1500series and up became "supercharable". This means that they had 2 pre-drilled holes in the pole piece. I verified when I blew my woofer up on wall. My motor indeed had 2 holes pre-drilled. It seems to me it may be as easy as removing cap and ordering parts from DD then screwing in with what looks to me as a hex or alan screw. Other reviews have demonstrated this and my numbers indicate that to be quite possible." So they gain over a stock one, done.
