4th Order Design for XL's in the 'stang *Bottom of Pg.3*

You're running a rear seat delete correct? Have you thought about inverting the XL's? That will free up a little airspace, maybe make the chambers smaller and add more port then? I assume the new XL's have to be around .2 per sub, should free up a little to add to port still keeping the same size chambers. Just a thought.

Airspace isn't the problem, it s the space on the baffle.

Shit didn't even think about that. Sorry, it's 1:35 here on the east coast, too late for me to be thinking LOL

What would the actual length of this port be? 26.5" long and stops 2.75" from the back wall. Is it 26.5+2.75+1.375=30.625

Your gonna want an L port shape on both sides. If the port is 5.5inches wide you want to keep the same distance from the back wall then continue your point to desired length.

Also imo thats too big for a set of 12's. make both chambers 1.5cu before displacement.

How would you port the 15's if you went that route. I'm assuming you'd fire the subs foward, maybe port to the side?? The 15's will definately be louder, and obviously play lower, but then you run outta trunk lol. Trial and error brotha

Not true. I've proven many times over a pr of 10's can get just as low and be louder as well. When it comes to a trunk bigger is not always better. :good:
