Dappa5 Posted February 5, 2012 Report Share Posted February 5, 2012 Well I am a new member on the site but I come here often and usualy just browse as a guest, but now I feel I have a build that is worthy and it doesnt hurt that I really want one of those DD1's as stated it's a Phantom build consists of all JL audio subs 2 13.5W7 mids and highs are JL 3 way components sub amps 2 JL HD1200.1 highs amp JL HD600.4 box was built by myself and Dylan Kirby(JBLcamry) fun build came out good lmk what you all think (not the usual JL sux comments) 1st the car sittin' on 26" forgiatos now the front doors (before) and the front doors (after) rear doors received a similuar treatment we used the stock h/u but the factory "Logic 7" was on the fritz so we utilized a JLaudio cleansweep and intergrated that way providing Ipod as well as access to the rear aftermarket dvd (monitors where the vanity mirrors were. all intergrated along with a a/m b/u cam to play on factory pop up screen in dash// needless to sat it was a lotta stuff but the well under the rear seat is caverness and would prob be a good spot for a small enclosure now on to the trunk , normally I would have a bunch of b4 pic of trunk but we tore into it immediatly and never looked back all the sub stage can be removed and the trunk returned back to stock fairly easily, we cut no factory panels and fabricated all exposed panels I dont have alot of pics of the "process" due to the fact I was building it and I suck @ pics I'll hunt for some more but we all want finished pics, don't we? theres 1 progress pic lol window brace with mirrored plexi insert well thats about all Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As a fellow installer I've seen the difference between a Honda and a Mercedes. I imagine this bring almost the same.
