Here is the part numbers I used, I ordered everything from Rock Auto except the brake lines which I got off ebay. Used VHT caliper paint for the calipers.

Optional Heavy Duty caliper - 18B4918HD - right

" " - 18B4919HD - left

Braided Brake lines - 950-66001

Rotor kit with pads - k2067

You can get the non Heavy Duty calipers, same part number just minus the HD part. They will work too, I opted for the HD since they were just a few bucks more and the boot is a better material. You have to have 17 inch or larger rims for this to work. Off RockAuto site I just put in 06' GMC Sierra 5.3 and the parts came up.

One other thing you will need 2 new banjo bolts that are coarse thread, line kit comes with fine thread. I got them from the auto parts store in the HELP section. Hope that helps ya.

It could be that the company asked him to change to the newer stuff. I'm not on an audio team but I've been on racquetball teams sponsored by a company and even if we liked the racquet from 3 years ago the best, and it ment winning the tournament if I played with that racquet.... Or playing like crap and having to get used to the new stuff (assuming it was not as good) we had to play with the newer stuff....

I'm not saying that the new amps are gonna be any less then his v2 aq3500's but I'm just explaining the logic of the companies. They want the people reping them to always have the new stuff....

That way when people see it and want it, they ask what it is and it's the new stuff. Not the cycled stuff from years ago. If everyone only bought used, companies sold go out of business

Nice update I actually just replaced my front rotors and pads with these brakes. I'm guessing it was easier install unbolting the T55 torx mine just would not budge so I had to work around it. This build is amazing even all the YELLOW!

dam good deal over going with a big brake kit. i think the front baer 6s kit i got was over $2500 and the rears wernt much cheaper because it had to have a drum to disk conversion. And you can usually not go wrong with oem design stuff. I have seen many hd work trucks get over 150k miles out of a set of pads with the stock set up.

Yup and mine already has disk in the rear been researching I can get a rear disk set off a newer tahoe and it same type of upgrade to the front, oversized rotor, 2 piston caliper vs 1 piston. So I will likely do that next.
