Badass work. Love this truck. What tool do you use to find the angles?

I use paper and a pen and figure it out with math and tape measure also use this slide angle tool that has a wing nut on the side to lock in place, not sure what it is called.

That is a good idea, but not for this application, that would make that amp almost 100% closed off, it needs to breath some so it doesn't get to hot.

now that´s a paint job!!!!!! those doors look absolutely amazing bro, and the layout well, i knew it was gonna look like that, now i need a pic of the baffle mounted on the box in order to start touching myself lol, still can´t believe you managed to fit that box in such an uncomfortable area hehe, keep it up, definitely tuned in for more!!

P.S: thanks again for the electrical input, alternator and adjustable regulator are gonna get ordered in about 3 days

Can you do us all a favor and do some tutorials on painting cause HOLY FAWK!!! I would love to do that to mine. Matter of fact I need to. My old door panels need some love, and I'm going to be adding lots of speakers to the fronts and a couple to the rears. I dread covering it in cloth or vinyl!

Yes fronts will be the same only with about a dozen or so mids in them, but that is after the wall is done.

A tutorial on how to paint would take some serious time due to fact this a pretty involved process there is a bunch of places you can fuck up big time and cause yourself more work. But when I get time tonight I will write out the process which will be some help. And doing a paint job like that not everyone can do it does take a certain degree of skill.

But glad everyone likes it, just wait once you see how the baffle is gonna be it will be very nice!!!

I've been looking at your build log almost every day waiting for a update.

These are the steps I use for painting a plastic panel with an auto body paint finish, additional steps are required prior if fiberglass work is required, this is just the painting prep steps.

Step 1. Sand entire panel to be painted with 80 grit paper

Step 2. Clean with Acetone or fast dry enamel or tac cloth to remove residue and clean the panel

Step 3. Spray with polyester based primer filler, there are a few "good" companies that offer these. Use a large tip HVLP gun for best results follow spray instrustions for primer.

Step 4. Sand primer with 220 dry

Step 5. Clean panel with tac cloth or fast dry enamel to remove sanding dust.

Step 6. Spray base coat, 2-3 light coats then follow up with 1 heavy coat if spraying outside.

Step 7. After base coat flash 10-30 minutes depending on temp, apply clear coat 2-3 light coats, then 2-3 additional heavy coats if sprayed outside.

Step 8. 12-24 hours after clear coat, wet sand with 2500 by hand or block to remove orange peel and dust in the clear. Be careful to not sand thru the clear into the base coat, otherwise you will have to re-clear. If you apply 4-5 coats of clear this is very hard to sand thru the clear with 2500, takes hours to happen lol.

Step 9. Cut with buffer and extra cut entire panel

Step 10. Buff with glaze pro to remove sand scratches and bring shine back, if clear is fogged up in some areas, repeat step 8 - 9 until gone.

Step 11. Apply one coat of wax

Step 12. Enjoy your work while others fap fap fap fap fap fap fap.
