Sanitarium Posted November 11, 2012 Report Posted November 11, 2012 i dont know if i missed this somewhere or what. is there anything that makes those HDC3's of your handle as much power as u are throwing to them. are they copper coils or aluminum coils? i am just wondering because i am going to be buying 2 HDC3 18's an was going to be throwing around 2k to each of them. an KILLER build. really liking that truck i've thrown a 2200 per hdc3 personally for over a year (before buying two more), and other people have been known to throw the old 3500's one per sub (not the new ones like ami here has)

I used TPI 440 Oscope to set my gains, set each strapped pair at 155 VAC soft clip. Wiring ripped out of the headliner for dome lights and console that is no longer needed. 6 AQ SDC 2.0 8s - 3 per front door Motor shots Smokes chillin like a boss..... and then he bit me when I grabbed the sub to flip it back over and he looked at me like, "Is that yours?" lol Little one getting bigger every day, standing next to my ARSPL finals trophy from 2010, first 160+ db the truck ever did.
