Passed my class b cdl test today that was a nice load off.. really thinking of just going for my class a..

do it man. dont even think about just go in and do it since your pre trip and everything is still fresh on your mind. best decision I ever made was getting mine.

yep. just check the 5th wheel and all that shit, your connectors(elec/air), say that you would check the seals of the glad hands and ask if they want you too(99% of the time they wont since the truck will have air), say you'll check to see that load is secured properly, all the lights n shit are working. checking oil levels, springs, bags, brakes. DOT bumper and the reflective tape. tread on the tires.

All that stuff. Check a video or two on youtube. In Oklahoma, you get 40 minutes to pretrip your rig on the test, it took me 38 minutes total. And I got 97 or 98% on the pre trip.

That wouldnt be to hard at all i might actually do that.. it was pretty relaxed here (indiana) i dont think there was a time limit.. it wasnt bad getting the class a would open a whole new door

old enough to get your hazmat? I could get in working wireline with halliburton if I was 21. Pretty low rate of layoffs if you're specialized. Not worth the risk though

I practice driving the egg truck every time I drive anything. That way when I am hauling a big load there are no surprises. Don't be in a hurry and come up to every stop looking for the best plan b as if the brakes were to fail.
