Twostrokeking
Okay I installed the Viper 350 to way responder. I love the alarm and it hurts my ears when I set if off! Anyways, I mounted the shock sensor on the bar that goes across under the dash, I have adjusted the sensitivity all the way and I can kick the tires, jump in the bed, smack the truck and it doesn't set off the alert... I want it so that if Someone even bumps the truck it goes off. What do you suggest I do?? Robert8252
Think audiofanaticz said once its best to be mounted on a bundle of wires on the dash. You could by a external shock sensor to mount in a better spot. Hell. Think I might have one laying around somewhere. I don't like relying on shock sensors though. Make sure you have door triggers hooked up. Also like glass sensors and motion sensors. But if you don't install and calibrate them right it doesn't matter. And you don't want your alarm to go off if you flick your car. Think about your neighbors who will get pissed when it goes off once an hour all might from a bird landing on it. 2013 F150 Crew Cab Old Build Log Feedback 2013 F150 Equipment - Some Awesome Stereo Sound Making Stuff

mbdblue
tie it to a main harness. you mount it to the body, everything will set it off (rain, high winds, a loud exhaust)....mount it to a non-moving component, nothing will set it off. a main harness usually will move on a small-high impact which is what you want.
