Few powerful and the rest obey the rules. You can fight the system and be angry and resentful you entire life or find your niche and be happy you don't live in a third world country where politics are far worse than anything we could imagine. Bush is one of the worst presidents to date. Romney will be worse, so I will gladly let Obama have another term. Congress and the presidents advisors have a greater impact on our daily life than Obama.... but its our nature to put blame on one person. I voted every chance I've gotten, local to primary and I vote for the best candidate... not a party. there are no good republican candidates this year so it should be interesting watching the "relief pitcher" try to get strikes in a winless game. We have a long way to go. But in your two options on how to live life, I think you neglect one of the most basic and truest of human emotions. If this country is not run the way you think it should be, fight to change it. If you think poverty is an issue, go out and help. My issue is that so many people resign themselves to just merely accept what is because either they do not believe it can change or lack the resolve and work ethic to do so. And considering Americans...I would say the later. This country CAN change. Americans CAN wake up and see the world for what it is as well who in our country is bad for us. There was a time when it was the middle class average man who wanted something more than what was, fought against the establishment, and created a new country. I vote, I devote time, I donate, I educate, volunteer, and try to raise awareness. It's not easy, but man...I get goosebumps when I envision how great our country can be...one day. That said...
