Tweets That Can Take 160 watts All Day

If you are crossed over at 6-7k hertz, then i doubt you even send 100w to them.

There is not a lot of musical content above 3-4khertz.

If you would clamp your tweeters i'm pretty sure you are barely sending them 50w RMS.

Moral of the story, you don't need to have tweeters that have a power rating of 150W RMS if you want to cross them over that high.

You think would be better to get 8 Ohm tweets maby 4 set´s?

It this directed to me?

If so, most of the time, 8 ohm tweets are more efficient then 4 ohm tweeters.

If Orion just takes 2 tweeters per side that can handle 50w each, it should be loud enough and handle all the power. Another benifit would be that he could cross them over lower.

out with this and in with this. 3 or 4 subs, subamps and midamps, doorcomps, BS fake comps, most time building lot in

the car. I don´t want to guess a number, i would say a nice holliday.

BTW guys, mine are crossed at 3550hz 24db slope.

Check out the Cadence CVTL10's they handle 100rms!
