Joe X Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 Another way to calculate the port parts lengths is reading the Torres "Physical Port Length" box, the length of the parts will be: L1 = Internal box depth - port width L2 = Physical Port Length - 0.75 - L1

Torres Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 yep, it's measured down the middle. that's your effective port length. the physical port length is the length of the wood itself to attain that effective port length. i also stress working it out in sketchup as there's several ways to assemble a box and port. do what works best for you
