Sick work on that dash, your doing a hell of a job

Thanks. Anyone have any suggestions on how to do the cover for the gauges? Maybe fiberglass? I am beating my head against the wall on that part.

The piece in the post above will go below the piece you see here. I just wanted something that looked a bit like what would be on a dash on the passenger side. I also am going to leave the beauty panel removable so i can get to the under dash mounts to bolt everything in place.

To be honest, I am kind of sick of looking at this dash. One step forward two steps back. Doing this from scratch and me being ocd about things is eating a lot of time. (I actually want to completely redo the console cause I am not really happy with it).

That being said, I figure I would distract myself with something else for a while so I don't get frustrated with it. I actually threw up my hands today and came into the house about 4pm I was so sick of it. But I forced myself back out to the garage cause this motherfucker is going to get done. lol

Anyway, on with the pics, sorry bout the wall of text.

While I was working my wife brought me some food.

And like i said, I took a breek from the dash.

I haven't done anything since the last update(managed to waste most the day today on b.s.). I managed to get a little done today. Just a few quick pics. Nothing really notable.

Fucking peel and seal, thanks EXO you idiot. This stuff was a waste of time and money. Lucky for me i bought like 300sqft. I re-roofed my house last year and used it there. LOL

Pro tip: roofing materials go on a roof....

Drilled some holes for the terminals. Going to run each coil on it's own so i can rewire easy if i need to,

Primer

I don't know if i should paint it black again or another color. I painted the console gray, but the gray looks a lot like primer so maybe i should pick another color. What do you guys think?
