Put in some deadener, and did a bit of work on the dash. I put the "distribution center" in the dash behind the cover panel. It's easy to get to and will make it nice when it come time to wire up for real. The doors sound amazing now, super solid. Check the video to see the results.

And now for pictures.

It's not possible to deaden behind these "things". So i found another solution.

As you can see the are welded across the bottom, and there would be know way to make sure the deadener stuck good.

So, my solution was this/.

Put some deadener on the roof, and i swear every time I kill one rattle i find another. But the ride quality has improved 10 fold. So much quiter now.

Also,I'm a cheap ass and didn't want to drive all the way to town to buy a roller, so i just made one.

Two layers but i'm not sure if i need more.

And i need a headliner i guess, should i make on from mdf, fiberglass, what to do?

I added a shit ton of damp pro, just to my doors,.... and INSTANTLY saw, and hear a improvement...

A bigger one, that i ever thought. It helps driving down the road, it helps when just shutting the door. I was impressed.

But, for the roof, i went straight for the kill. Added 2 sheets of 3/4" and great stuff..... then again, a vehicle you dont give a fawk about helps..LOL

I figured out how I am going to secure the dash. I didn't want to do it this way but I dont see any other way. I'll just have to fill these holes in later. It's solid as hell now though so that is a plus.

Also, what are you screwing into in the dash? Sorry like I said I need to go back and start from the beginning. Maybe I'll do that before asking anymore questions. I don't wanna be "that guy"!

I'm just screwing the dash to the car. The original dash had like 4 screws holding it down. I tried to use factory mounts where i can, but this part i just had to improvise.
