At some point years ago the decision was made that mods cannot enter SOTM because they can tamper with the voting. I am pretty sure that after several upgrades to the forum mods cannot influence the voting so are mods allowed to enter?! If so, I'll throw my estimated 750wrms into the mix :) -Drew
Hm, part 9 of the SOTM rules say other"9.) Staff of SMD (mods/supermods/admins) are no longer eligible of running in SOTM."

It seems like I phrased my initial post wrong. The qustion wasn't so much "can mods enter?" but more, "should reds and blues be able to enter now that they cannot influence the voting? because if so I want in"

Either way you also pointed out that i posted it in the wrong section, my mistake.

-Drew

Off topic here, but I think that if the reds and blues can no longer influence any changes to the voting or ending winner, they should be allowed to enter into the SOTM.

I'll admit, half way through sanding that fiberglass in the rain and cold while I was all itchy I was definitely starting to question why i was doing this haha

Drew we have covered this in the mod forum. most of us don't want to run in it. If we won it would be because of the red and blue. Sure it would be cool but we all pretty much agreed that there is no way to not catch a ton of flak for it. We want to ensure that every month is a level playing field and that the results can't be skewed by anything other than the stereo you're looking at.

I nominate myself! My '67 Aussie Fairlane hearse runs one Alpine PDX 4.150, a pair of Blaupunkt Velocity's and an Earthquake 15. That's it. Haven't measured it but it hits hard. Pics and videos to follow. ps. If I win will you send my prize to Australia?

WHAT'S THAT?

IT'S TOO LOUD?

The only way to delete your SMD account is for you crawl to steve meades door step on your knees and pleade for his forgiveness and acceptance to be released...He will either grant your wishes.....or choke you with a large piece of 0 gauge and electrocute you by hooking up a solid gold DC 12k at 0.000001 ohm and 10000 volts to your eye sockets and blow your head apart

You guys act like you have never clogged a toilet and ran around the bathroom frantically hoping it don't overflow.
